We were there as tourists and received excellent service, despite the fact that a large private party was being served next door. The two of us ordered a schnitzel platter, which could easily have served three people. Afterwards, we were even offered a complimentary selection of three fresh desserts. The value for money was very good, and the staff was very friendly! We would gladly return!

Attentive staff. They can respond to any food intolerances on the spot and conjure up a delicious alternative. Very good German cuisine. Medium to large parties can easily be accommodated here. Fantastic desserts are served in small portions, so you can try all the flavors. If the location were closer to where I live, I would celebrate here too. Highly recommended.

I celebrated my 60th birthday with a lovely family lunch at the Deutsches Haus on Pentecost Sunday, and I must say, I wasn't the only one thrilled; my guests raved about it too! The food was absolutely delicious from start to finish. The staff were incredibly friendly, relaxed, accommodating, and in great spirits. The table was beautifully and thoughtfully set! We all noticed how quickly the food was replenished – the bowls and meat platters were rarely empty! And the wedding soup – simply divine! 👌🏼 The preliminary discussions were also very pleasant, straightforward, and accommodating! I can wholeheartedly recommend the Deutsches Haus! Thanks again for everything...it will remain an unforgettable birthday for me! ☺️

We celebrated a reunion of former colleagues there over the weekend. The organization for 160 people was superb, the staff were always friendly and efficient. The food was excellent. I'll definitely come back for a meal sometime.

We stayed at the Deutsches Haus in Mönchehagen and can highly recommend it! It's a wonderful place to celebrate, and the chef conjures up delicious, home-style cooking. It's not an à la carte restaurant, but we were in luck: Since a celebration was taking place, the chef spontaneously conjured up something for us. Without a specific order, we were served a delicious selection of meats, side dishes, and dessert that left nothing to be desired. The service was also competent and very pleasant. All in all, an absolute recommendation!

We wanted to eat at this restaurant to round off our holiday, and it was a very good decision. Dogs were allowed, and the chef prepared excellent vegetarian dishes and catered to all our requests. The service was incredibly friendly and attentive. It's well worth a visit if you're looking for and enjoy German cuisine.
